Good Games Based on Movies

I still am not gaming much. We have a ton of games to choose from, but I’ve been more interested in knitting and watching Netflix.  I don’t know if we will continue to have our streaming plus one DVD plan for much longer, so I’m living it up and watching as much anime as I can stomach!  Now that I think about it, is there a better service for watching anime?  There are some animes that I can barely stomach in English, but my wallet cries at the thought of buying lots of expensive anime DVDs.

Watching all these movies and stuff made me wonder if there are any good games based on movies.  There are all the Disney worlds in Kingdom Hearts, of course, but it doesn’t quite equate to playing through one big movie.   And,truthfully, I didn’t like Kingdom Hearts 2 very much, so I probably won’t invest any more playtime into the Kingdom Hearts series.

Forever ago, someone got me Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the PS2 as a Christmas gift, but I only played it for an hour or two.
I have no idea if this game is any good.

I have a good friend who plays“movie games,” like the Lord of the Rings games on PS2, and she’s always seemed to enjoy them well enough.  At the same time, I have a much more particular taste in movies than she does.  Translation:  she likes terrible movies.  O snap!

Just to clarify, I’m not talking about movies based on games, like Mortal Kombat or Tomb Raider.  Games based on movies are my concern today!

Anyway, consider this a poll:  What are some good movie games?  I’m curious enough about this to ask you to please rec this post.
