The Perfect Yarn For Furniture Feet?

Remember a few weeks ago when I said that I wanted to try making some felted furniture feet?  I may or may not have found the perfect yarn for it.  Enter:  Cascade 220, made of 100% wool.  The discontinued colors are on sale over at WEBS for $4.99/hank.  Check them out!

To match our living room rug, I’m thinking of using either color number 7829 (Light Brick) or 9443 (Merlot Heather).  Because, seriously, that rug really ties the room together.

“Light Brick.”  This would be such a splash of color on our couches.

“Merlot Heather.”  Not as bright as the Light Brick, but very pretty.

Let it be known that I will spend all my money on this yarn.  There are discontinued colors of the fan-freaking-tastic Cascade 220 Superwash wool yarn on sale, too.  So, obviously, WEBS doesn’t just want my wallet to cry.  They want my wallet to beg for mercy or for death – whichever one comes first.  Superwash wool is machine washable, which probably means that I’d be hard pressed to felt (full) it.  But, I’ve knitted with the Cascade 220 Superwash before, and I love it.  Beautiful, discounted yarn?  Happy Valentine’s Day to me!
