What Are YOU Doing for Japan?

According to Destructoid, a totally amazing Nintendo D.S. is being auctioned on eBay.  All of the proceeds are going to help earthquake/tsunami stricken Japan.

Through a simple google search, I ran across an article written by the young lady auctioning her prized D.S.  I suggest you check it out yourself.

If someone can part with a D.S. signed by the likes of Shigeru Miyamoto, Koji Kondo, Charles Martinet, and Martin Leung, I don’t think it would be that difficult for the rest of us to do a little something for Japan.

Don’t be stingy with prayers, of course, but don’t be stingy with your money, either!  As a Christian, I’m called to pray without ceasing.  At the same time, I’m not called to cop out of helping needy people by using prayer as an excuse to do nothing else.

The Red Cross asks for a minimum donation of ten dollars.  That doesn’t seem like much when we’re going out to eat with friends, does it?  If sacrificing a meal or two at Wendy’s or McDonald’s means that a cold, hungry person who has lost absolutely everything can get a meal or a blanket, I’d say that’s a sacrifice worth making.

So, gamers!  Show the world what we can do!  Get out there and give!
